Welcome to Boultons

COVID-19 Statement

Like the rest of the country we received the news on 13th May that the property market was re-opening.

We have for the last two months been working from home and will continue to do so.

Our offices will continue to be physically closed for the safety of our staff and public, but we will be increasing our working from home staff base.

From the angle of an independent estate agent we are torn between re-opening and staying in lockdown, based on the safety of our staff and public. However, in light of the Government announcement we have decided to commence valuations and viewings from Monday 18th May.

There are safety and logistical problems with doing valuations and viewings and we are currently forming a policy for this so that both sides are aware of the conduct expected. It may be that we cannot show all properties and this will be based on a risk assessed approach. Equally some of our clients may decide they do not want to open their houses.

We have a significant number of people already waiting to view and will be contacting them over the coming days. It may be that you have to wait a certain time before we can arrange your viewing.

We also expect a significant call volume over the coming days, so please bear with us whilst we respond to everyone.

Some of our staff have already been subject to verbal abuse during the lockdown period and this will not be tolerated.

Rental property repairs will still only be undertaken where urgent, safe to do so and when our contractor is comfortable with the situation.

Should anyone have a query please see the contact names below or ring our main line numbers.
